Jeff Bridges plays a run down, country western singer blessed with talent, but cursed in old age from the relentless sins of alcohol and cigarettes. What could have been, and felt like a modified version of the downfall of Mickey Rourke's Randy in last year's The Wrestler at least part way through, turns out to be something more of a personal triumph over addictions that all too often end in destruction.

One of the key aspects of success is being able to communicate effectively. Bluetooth has always looked like a great idea. Execution on the other hand has been a little iffy. A great headset should work with two phones and a computer with ease. It should be clear and you should be able to walk from your car to a store in a light breeze without blowing out your own eardrums. |

Looking for ways to save electricity can be maddening when you're stuck with power bills that cost you hundreds of dollars per month. It seems that no matter what anyone does, the power bill continues to remain high. Have you ever noticed that the prices rise for everyone at the same times every year? It's true, electricity is outrageous, and it's just going to get higher. |

Years ago owning a personal computer was a big challenge as one could easily spend thousands of dollars to get all of the hardware and software needed to run the home based system. Over time we reached an age of wireless devices where one could be mobile and still be able to keep in touch remotely via the internet. These laptop computers are coming down in price but can still cost someone a nice penny. Obviously there is still a need for desktop and laptop computers but today if you need to be in touch remotely and have limited funds the NetBook is a great option. |
