First off, who are you, what do you care about, why do I love you, why do I hate you? The author will need to address these types of "character" questions long before they sit down to write their story. Because the bottom line is, if the author doesn't have the answers, surely no one else will, and worse, no one will care.

I have been golfing since I was 13 and I am now 59 and in the Senor Golfer category.  Have I noticed a difference in my game from 10, 15 or 20 years ago, you bet I have.  What has changed is that I am less flexible, meaning I can't make as much of a backswing turn and my swing speed has slowed down.  The aches and pains and malfunctioning body parts have increased and I have had to make adjustments to my swing and game.  The new technology of today's golf equipment significantly helps offset the aging process and it's effects on your golf game but only to a certain degree.  Senior Golfers still need help whether you have been playing golf for as long as I have or just took up the game recently.
